It’s easy for us to say this: London is blessed. Few places around the world have so many events taking place where we can dance. And it’s therefore no surprise that a number of events calendars have popped up.

Aside from our tweets on weekend events (which also appear here on our site), Judy Cook runs an email list which lists upcoming events. There are also two new websites for events, coincidentally both named after one of our favourite Lindy hop moves:

• Swing Out (http://www.swingout.co.uk/) lists upcoming events over the next month and allows you to to filter by the type of event and its location.
• Swing Out London (http://www.swingoutlondon.co.uk) also has a comprehensive list of swinging events over the next two weeks, listing regular events and one-off/infrequent ones. The site also has a Twitter feed (@swingoutlondon).
• In addition to the Swing Outs, Swing Junction (http://www.swingjunction.co.uk/) is a veteran calendar to keep you up to date not just with events in London but across the UK. (A feed from the site can be seen on our sidebar on the right of this page.) This site however relies on user-entered information, so be sure to double check events on the relevant promoters’ sites (as you should with all the sites) in case there are late cancellations/changes.

All of these are great guides to events coming up, so whether you’re looking for something new, something to do at the last minute, or planning way ahead, be sure to keep an eye out on them all!
