And we reckon London swings like no other city, as demonstrated by the masses of Christmas parties taking place over the next month. So deck yourselves out with your favourite gladrags and get on those dancefloors!

* A mention especially for the 8th Dancers’ Own New Year’s Eve Charity Dance, it’s organised by swing dancers led by Judy Cook. There’s no bar, but DJs wll be swinging from 8pm to 1am at St Michaels & All Angels Church Hall, Turnham Green.
