We all know how to Lindy Hop, right? But how many other swing dances do you know to go with it? What about balboa and blues? Well, the London swing dance scene is getting bigger with Swing So Simple’s new balboa classes, run by Jonathan Ellis every Monday, and Blues Revolution’s new weekly blues classes every Wednesday at Charlotte Street Blues. If you fancy trying out something new to dance to those quicker and slower tunes, check both of these out!

The summer is nearly over and the sun is setting earlier, but that doesn’t put us off a last hurrah in the park! Our very own Adrian is organising the last Swing Dance Picnic of 2009 this Sunday, and you’re invited. With entertainment from John Barnes and lessons from LSDS’s Simon and Kirsty Martin Ellis from Swingland, it’ll be a great last blast before we get our winter woollies out. So come along.
